Presentation on the flora of the Argentine pampas and Patagonia

Alois Fundneider spent around five months in Argentina as part of his research activities at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the Laimburg Research Centre. During this time, he was able to gain an impression of the native and non-native flora of Argentina. The South American country has many different habitats, ranging from the Antarctic in the south to the tropics in the north. In his lecture ‘Insights into the biogeography of Argentina - endemics and invasive species’, he will focus on the flora of the Pampa region and Patagonia.
