DER FUCHS is the true story of Franz Streitberger, Adrian Goiginger's great-grandfather, a motorbike courier for the Austrian army who is incorporated into the Wehrmacht with the Anschluss. At the beginning of the Second World War, the introverted young soldier meets a wounded fox cub, which he cares for like his own child and takes with him to occupied France.
