Dentro il Cubo
Museion presents at the Piccolo Museion – Cubo Garutti a project addressing the phenomenon of youth social withdrawal, bringing contemporary art, social work and participatory practices into dialogue. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the association La Strada – Der Weg, as part of the "Invisibili" project team, and forms part of Museion's ongoing commitment to strengthening the role of cultural institutions as spaces for listening, relationship-building and participation. Located in the Don Bosco district, just steps from the "Invisibili" project's headquarters, Cubo Garutti becomes a meeting point between individual experiences, community and citizenship.
The project's first chapter, titled "Dentro il Cubo" (Inside the Cube), can be visited from 3 July to 16 August 2026 and presents a selection of works created by the young people involved in the "Invisibili" project during an art therapy programme led by Rita Mentzel. Drawings, paintings and other visual works reflect fragments of experiences, imagination and sensitivities that often remain distant from public space, giving shape to new possibilities for expression and relationship.
Through this collaboration, Museion and La Strada – Der Weg aim to explore the role of art as a tool for listening and participation, creating opportunities to bring often invisible experiences to light and to foster new forms of closeness.
