In “Das Traumfresserchen,” renowned children's author Michael Ende tells a poetic story about the fear of falling asleep, the power of dreams and the secret of a spell. Tanja Regele, who has already successfully staged the class play “Titus” at the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen/Teatro Stabile di Bolzano, brings the fairy tale journey for young and old to the theater.

In Schlummerland lives Princess Schlafittchen, who never wants to go to bed at night and is always inventing new excuses. Sleep is the most important thing in Schlummerland. But Princess Schlafittchen has bad dreams, and no one, not even the smartest doctors and teachers, can help her. One day, the queen packs her backpack and starts to travel around the world. She asks many people in many countries if they know a cure for bad dreams, but unfortunately without success. Then she meets a strange creature, the Dream Eater, who loves nothing more than bad dreams. Can he help Schlafittchen as well? In any case, they want to try...
