Conference: The challenge of coexistence with wolves and bears in the Alps

The return of bears, wolves and, in perspective, the lynx to the Alps, is the subject of intense debates: discussions that are often based on an emotional perception far removed from the biology and ecology of the species. The conference will be a cue to learn more about the large carnivores present in the Alps in a “lay” way, analyzing the problems they pose to rural life and seeking solutions for possible coexistence.
Filippo Zibordi is an expert in alpine wildlife conservation, popularizer and trainer in the environmental field, and has a degree in Natural Sciences.
