Concert - Suite Pierangelo Taboni

A journey through three centuries of music history, linked by the fascination of the suite as a form and concept. The programme begins with Bach's mastery, a sublime example of rhythmic elegance and contrapuntal artistry. It continues with a work by Facchinetti from 1951, in which the Brescia-born composer already displays maturity and formal clarity in his language. The finale is Debussy's ethereal and enchanted sound world – a masterpiece of French Impressionism that, through the revival of old dances, becomes a dream world of sound and colour of rare intensity.
