CONCERT ONQ / IMPROVISERS SPECIAL

For the first time since onQ came into being, a cross-border concert will take place on August 13 at the LUMEN Museum of Mountain Photography in South Tyrol: Just as onQ already enters into dialogue with literature in an interdisciplinary way, this is now happening for the first time with architecture and photography: Four musicians inside the onQ collective will perform existing compositions and improvised music in the spaces of the museum, making concrete conceptual and musical reference to the place that, at the summit of the Kronplatz mountain near Bruneck in South Tyrol, gives mountain photography a home: The LUMEN Museum not only provides spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks and the South Tyrolean valleys, but also, through the exhibitions, an insight into the world of artistic engagement with the theme of mountains. onQ, incorporating the spaces, will interpret these themes musically.
