Concert of the Brandenburg-Berlin Youth Plucking Orchestra (LJZO BB)

The LJZO BB exists since 1993 as a project and support measure for especially talented young mandolinists and guitarists.

The repertoire of the orchestra is very diverse. It includes folklore, arrangements of baroque to romantic, partly symphonic pieces, as well as contemporary original works. National and international awards and prizes crown the successful work of the LJZO.

In 2022 Patrick Tuttle was recruited as conductor for the LJZO BB.

The concert is held as part of the orchestra's stay in the province of Bolzano from Oct. 22 to 29.

The mandolin was chosen as the "Musical Instrument of the Year" 2023 in Germany by the Conference of Regional Music Councils.
