Concert by the Fanfara Alpina Julia

Founded in 1967, the Fanfara Alpina Julia is stationed in Udine and is one of the music bands of the Italian Army. It consists of 35 elements, including wind and percussion instruments, all trained at music conservatories. The formation participates annually in numerous military, civil and religious ceremonies - including the Alpine Troops Ski Championships and the National Alpine Troops Assembly - and has also performed in piazza San Pietro in the presence of the Pope. It also holds numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, promoting the image and values of the Alpine Troops. Free admission.
