Concert by Music Band Unterinn / Auna di Sotto

The Musikkapelle Unterinn was founded in 1804 and is thus one of the oldest bands in South Tyrol. It is one of six bands on the Ritten plateau above the provincial capital of Bolzano. In addition to the MKU, there are the music bands Wangen, Oberinn, Lengmoos, Lengstein and Oberbozen on the Ritten. The Musikkapelle Unterinn currently has 52 active musicians with an average age of 32.27 years. In addition, there are 4 sutlers and two ensigns. Since autumn 2021, the band has been under the musical direction of bandmaster Tobias Tammerle. Matthias Lobis is the organisational leader of the association. He has been the band's chairman since January 2019. The band is in action around 100 days a year. A large part of this is spent on music and marching rehearsals, the rest on concerts, church festivals and musical or social events. Highlights are the spring concert and the traditional Whitsun festival at the festival site in Unterinn.
