Concert by Cinquino Brass Quintett

The "Cinquino" brass quintet is made up of 5 experienced South Tyrolean musicians consisting of wind players from the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, as well as music teachers. With a passion for brass music, they have put together a challenging and exciting programme that deliberately sets itself apart from the current fashions in brass music. What makes the "Cinquino" special is its dedication to authentic brass chamber music, which is increasingly being forgotten. They have set themselves the task of rediscovering the versatility and beauty of this musical form and fully utilising the individual abilities of the musicians.
