Conatus - the invisible body
With XTRA: A SPACE IN ACTION, the Pharmacy Museum creates a platform for artistic, philosophical and scientific positions and perspectives in a temporary dialogue with our museum. The first edition 2023 was conceived and created by Brixen artist Maria Stockner.
Conatus - The Invisible Body: Inspired by the ordered variety of exhibits and the transgenerational history of the house, Maria Stockner with Conatus - the invisible body opens a discourse around the themes of the human body and the mysteries of healing, recovery and health.
Maria Stockner: The artist likes to collect various small objects, textile fragments or artifacts found in nature, poetically transforming them in her own way following the footsteps of transgenerational entanglements.
