When Mike Sardina sees the singer Claire Stengl on stage for the first time, he is instantly captivated. Mike, a Vietnam veteran and recovering alcoholic, works odd jobs as a mechanic, but his heart truly belongs to music. In Claire, he recognizes the same passion. A deep connection quickly forms between them. Together they found the Neil Diamond tribute band “Lightning & Thunder” — the beginning of a love story that goes far beyond their shared passion for music.
