The artist Hanne and the retired vicar Bernd are leading a happy, though somewhat routine, married life when, out of the blue, Hanne’s ex-husband Kurt turns up at their door. Due to his dementia, Kurt can no longer remember that he and Hanne have been divorced for 20 years.
