Christmas Market Opening 2023

The church square is aglow with lights, soft Christmas music accompanies us and there is the smell of mulled wine and fresh pastries - from Friday, 1 December 2023

On December 1st, the Algund Christmas Market will open its doors, marking the beginning of a series of small and large highlights for visitors to enjoy. Amidst tradition, craftsmanship, and experiential gastronomy, Algund will resonate with special Christmas sounds. The Algund brass group will gracefully accompany the opening.

We welcome Zett Miss South Tyrol 2023 Mara Kerschbaumer as our guest of honour.
The opening will be introduced musically by a brass band

NEW! Musician Michael Aster will entertain visitors on the newly set up stage on the church square until around 19:00.

Look forward to a familial ambiance, a large gingerbread house, an ice rink for both little and big visitors, and festively decorated stalls offering gift ideas and regional delicacies to warm your hearts.

The Christmas Market is open on the following days:

Friday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

From Friday, December 8th, to Sunday, December 10th: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
From Tuesday, December 26th, to Monday, January 1st: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

On December 24th and 31st: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
