Chocolate Festival in Monguelfo

Monguelfo becomes the sweetest spot of the summer: 15 years of the Chocolate Festival. On Friday, 22 and Saturday, 23 August 2025, Welsberg celebrates a special anniversary: the Chocolate Festival returns for the 15th time and transforms the village centre into a paradise for chocolate lovers, foodies and craft enthusiasts. For two days, everything revolves around taste, creativity and festive joy.

FRIDAY, 22 AUGUST 2025
From 4:00 pm: At the Chocolate Festival, discover chocolate in all its variations – from classic to creative. The market “Sweet, Beautiful, Handmade” offers lovingly crafted handicrafts, fine specialties, and unique items. A colorful mix of chocolate, flavor, and handmade variety – to discover, marvel at, and enjoy. 4:00-6:00 pm: Face painting with Vroni & Friends. 4:00-8:00 pm: Elli’s Kids Events – non-stop fun and games with great interactive stations. 4:00-11:00 pm: Gastronomy at the festival square. 4:30-5:15 pm: Concert by the Welsberg-Taisten Youth Band. 5:00 pm: Official opening of the festival.
From 6:30 pm: Live music with the Sillianer Buibm.

SATURDAY, 23 AUGUST 2025
From 10:00 am: Opening of the market “Sweet, Beautiful, Handmade.” 10:30 am-8:00 pm: Elli’s Kids Events – non-stop fun and games with great interactive stations. 11:00 am-1:00 pm & 5:00-8:00 pm: Face painting with Vroni & Friends. 11:00 am-11:00 pm: Gastronomy at the festival square. 11:00 am-2:00 pm: Morning get-together with “Gipfelblech.”
3:00-5:30 pm: Traditional dances & Schuhplattler by the Innervillgraten folk dance group. From 6:30 pm: “Die Bergdiamanten” live on stage. 8:00 pm: Lottery drawing.
