A puppet and shadow theatre performance by Il Segreto di Pulcinella

for children aged 6 and above in the Commandery Lengmoos at 3.30 p.m., Price: € 7.

Grandma lives in a small house at the edge of the forest. One day, on his way to visit her, her grandson Jonah finds a dead bird. Grandma tells him that it should be buried where it belongs—in the forest. As Jonah sets off into the woods alone, he encounters a group of strange animals who ask for his help in protecting their descendants. Can Jonah help the extinct animals? And how will his beloved grandmother guide him along the way?

Jonah and the Bird is an intergenerational theatre piece for children that highlights how valuable the knowledge and experience of grandparents are for younger generations. The play raises awareness about the critical issue of species extinction and conveys the importance and joy of treating nature with care and respect. It encourages courage and action, showing that even small steps can make a difference.
