Book presentation "Historische Beziehungsgeflechte", JOSEF RIEDMANN
Josef Riedmann has left his mark on the medieval and regional history of Innsbruck through his research and teaching. His influence extends far beyond academia and reaches many people interested in history. His academic works mainly focus on the early and late Middle Ages, but also deal with topics in contemporary history. A central theme of his research is the relations and exchange processes between the German- and Italian-speaking regions.
This volume brings together fifty selected works published between 1972 and 2018 and reflects Riedmann's academic work.
Julia Hörmann-Thurn und Taxis (associate professor of medieval history and auxiliary historical sciences at the University of Innsbruck) and Gustav Pfeifer (director of the South Tyrolean Provincial Archives in Bolzano) will present the 377th volume of the Schlern-Schriften. The evening will be moderated by Brigitte Mazohl (Austrian Academy of Sciences).
