Bolzano Danza 2026 - Michele Di Stefano & Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch
Veduta_Atlante Mediterraneo
An immersive experience between sound and movement that transforms perception and invites audiences to rediscover urban and natural spaces from unexpected perspectives. Veduta is a project by Michele Di Stefano (Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale) and composer Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch, exploring the relationship between dance and urban space, turning the city into a perceptual device. After several editions across Italy, the project returns to Bolzano with a new version titled Veduta_Atlante Mediterraneo, created in collaboration with Orbita|Spellbound, involving the city centre and the nearby San Martino in Badia, with the participation of Spellbound members and guests from the Mediterranean basin. Inspired by the cinematic idea of a "room with a view", the performance places the audience at its centre: spectators experience it through headphones, immersed in a holophonic sound score. The performers, spread across the space, appear near or far, building a continuous dialogue between presence and distance. Without sets or theatrical lighting, the choreography relies on the real environment, transforming the landscape into a dynamic and ever-changing stage.
Tickets are available online or at the box office of the Teatro Comunale di Bolzano.
