Bike Autumn: Gherdëina– Secret Trails
Ready for an unforgettable adventure in the Dolomites?
The day begins with an exciting ride on the funicular from Ortisei in Val Gardena, taking us up to an impressive 2,000 meters of altitude. After the ascent, we face a short but demanding climb to the Raschötz Hut. The steep path rewards us with spectacular panoramic views.
We continue toward Ausserraschötz, where a brief hike-a-bike section awaits. The natural beauty of the landscape more than compensates for any effort. A challenging trail follows, featuring both short technical climbs and thrilling descents, before we enjoy a well-deserved break at the Brogles Alm. After that, we begin our return to Ortisei.
• Required equipment: helmet, knee and elbow protectors; Recommended: back protector
• Difficulty STS: S2 (with short S3 sections) – advanced MTB skills required
• Fitness level: 3/5
• Ascent: approx. 1,200 m (800 m covered by the funicular)
• Descent: approx. 1,200 m
• Distance: approx. 20 km
• Enduro, full-day tour
