"Big 5": High-altitude excursion to the Fallmetzer summit (2,568 metres)
The Fallmetz summit (2,568m) is an insider tip as it is less well-known but offers a spectacular 360-degree view.
The trail leads you through alpine panoramas to the Falzarer Joch between the Altfasstal valley and Pfunders. From the Falzarer Joch, you climb over a grassy ridge to the pre-summit. The slightly exposed transition to the main summit is quickly conquered and an unimagined panoramic view of the large Seefeldsee lake, the Altfasstal valley and the surrounding mountain peaks awaits you.
The descent is via the ascent route. Stop for refreshments on the way back.
Walking time: approx. 7 hours, 16 km and 1100 m of elevation gain.
Total duration: approx. 8 hours.
Price:
With Almencard from 12 years: 10€
With mobilcard and others: 20€
