Biennale Gherdëina 9: Hike from Vallunga to the Fanes Alp
Join us for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the wild nature of the Dolomites. The walking artist Michael Höpfner, paleonthologist Herwig Prinoth, and ornithologist and botanist Iacun Prugger will guide you on an excursion through breathtaking landscapes.
6.00 h - start from the Vallunga parking lot in Selva di Val Gardena
17.30 h - arrival at the Parliament of Marmots, Rifugio Lavarella, Fanes Alp
20.00 h - retour to Val Gardena by shuttle
There are three different options to participate in the hike:
option 1: entirely by foot (27,2 km - 2160 m altimeter)
option 2: by foot to the Baita Gardenaccia and La Ila (14,4 km - 990 m altimeter), then by bus to Pederü and by foot or shuttle to the Parliament of Marmots, Rifugio Lavarella, Fanes Alp
option 3: by bus or car to Pederü and then by foot or shuttle to the Parliament of Marmots, Rifugio Lavarella, Fanes Alp
