Welcoming someoneə into a new space is always a celebration and a privilege. It means sharing, being together, dwelling and communicating. It is a greeting, an invitation and an expression of creativity. A new space, where art and artistə will present their works together.
Caroline Profanter expands this space acoustically, taking visitorsə on a journey between reality and fantasy. Her performance combines field recordings and electronic sounds that oscillate between water, voices and natural environments. Profanter blurs the boundaries between real and imagined worlds, creating an immersive soundscape.
In the artistic process, real and imaginary places are often intertwined, just like in an atelier, a transitional space where reality and fantasy merge.
