In glittering Barbieland, not everything is as beautiful as it seems at first glance. Because behind the façade there are strict rules: Anyone who is not pretty or perfect enough is simply cast out. This is also what happens to the plastic doll Barbie. After she is expelled from Barbieland, the doll magically transforms into a real person. It is only in the real world that Barbie learns to really know herself and her own strengths. Back in Barbieland, she wants to tell her friends about her new knowledge and broaden their horizons.
