Authors in Merano in Italian language - winner Piera Ventre

The Merano Europa International Literary Prize is a major cultural initiative that has been promoting dialogue between Italian and German literature for sixteen years, highlighting contemporary novels of high quality and social relevance. A distinctive feature is the popular jury: readers themselves decide the winner during the final ceremony, bringing the award closer to the public. The presentation of the winning work is also an opportunity for a direct encounter with the author Piera Ventre: through readings and discussion, the audience can gain a deeper understanding of the work, its context, and the themes that have contributed to its success.
