ASSOCIAZIONE ARTE DEL FAR RIDERE -Gli sciangaioli storie di vita indimenticabili
Screening of the video documentary “The Sciangaioli – Unforgettable Life Stories.”
The video will be introduced by Lele Antinarella, a historic figure of the Ipazia Auser Amici di Sciangai club, animator and living memory of the Sciangai community.
The term “Sciangaioli” was used—often with a hint of contempt—to describe the inhabitants of an area of the city of Bolzano located between Via Aosta, Via Milano, and Via Resia. This area included the former Dux district, characterized by the so-called semi-rural houses, today known as the Don Bosco neighborhood.
This Italian district was established at the end of the 1930s at the behest of the Fascist regime, with the aim of supporting the industrial area, which expanded over time both in size and importance.
