Artful & art-wool : Special exhibition in the City Museum
The City Museum continues part of the ‘Kunstgerecht’ exhibition, a joint project entitled ‘La Regione fuori dai vetri’, which is the result of a collaboration between the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige and the Civic Museum of Chiusa. On display are some of the most important works of the region's artistic heritage, created over the course of a century from 1900 onwards. They are flanked by the creativity of the three artists Jakob de Chirico, Irmgard Gamper Delmonego and Markus Moling, the designer Alex Terzariol and four young people from the KAOS centre in Klausen, who have artistically reinterpreted balls of wool as part of the ‘Art-Wool’ project. These surprising works were created especially for this exhibition and take up an artisanal speciality of our region.
