Following in Ötzi’s footsteps – Experience archaeology up close for children aged 8–12

The South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology invites kids and adolescents (ages 8-12) to join us for an exciting week where everything revolves around prehistory! Alongside experts you will explore the materials that were used during the Stone Age and use them yourself.

Get inspired by the Iceman find and immerse yourself in his world with the help of experimental archaeology. Through practical experiments and exciting tasks, you will experience first-hand what life was like in prehistory. Two field trips to the area surrounding Bolzano make it a perfect adventure!
