Archeoweek 2024
The South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology is once again offering Stone Age vacations this summer! Children and young people aged between 8 and 12 will learn about the materials used in prehistory and what we know about their processing. The starting point is the uniquely well-preserved finds of Ötzi, the Iceman. Under the guidance of archaeotechnical experts, they learn about various prehistoric skills and rebuild one of Ötzi's tools. Two excursions into the Bolzano area round off the experience.
The Bolzano Castles Foundation makes the park at Maretsch Castle available for the outdoor activities.
