Anouk - the musical for children

Anouk is a lovable and helpful little girl. There is, however, one thing she really dislikes: going to bed! So her parents are amazed when, all of a sudden, Anouk runs to bed in the evening full of excitement.

What they don’t know is that every night a magical door opens to a world full of imagination and adventure. Anouk embarks on thrilling journeys, joins pirates on treasure hunts, faces challenges in the jungle, and meets colorful characters at the fairground. Along the way, she makes new friends and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations.

The next day, when she tells her parents about her nightly adventures, they always say: “Sweetheart, that was just a dream!” But Anouk has “proof” that it wasn’t. And her grandmother seems to know more than she lets on…

With fascinating characters and magical settings, this stage adaptation sparks the imagination and strengthens belief in the power of dreams. The script is written by Georg Veit and Hendrikje Balsmeyer, while Peter Maffay and his team are responsible for the musical arrangements.
