Angel's Meditation

The Engelsburg or Angel’s Castle of Neustift Monastery is the most important example of a Roman central building in Tyrol. The layout of the chapel may be a homage to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and is therefore a popular pilgrimage destination. This historical gem will provide the venue for a very intimate concert. Angel’s Meditation will allow you to reflect and discover inner peace in a spiritual space. After opening the concert on the ground floor, the musicians will accompany you up to the chapel, where the second part of the concert will take place. Illuminated solely by candlelight, cellist Arthur Hornig (German Opera Berlin) and Julia Okruashvili (harpsichord) will enchant you with pieces by Bach, Vivaldi, and Boccherini. Enjoy the peace and gentle music. This exquisite concert will be performed twice, each time to only 30 people.
