The story of Angatar, an Inuit boy who is mocked by everyone because he cannot throw the spear. To prove himself, he recklessly ventures out on a seal hunt, but gets lost in the process. He manages to save himself on an ice floe, which drifts him to another tribe in Greenland. There, he regains his lost self-confidence through hunting a bear.
