An evening with MUTTI
Guided tour followed by a MUTTI dinner (in German and Italian)
During the guided tour of the group exhibition “Apples and Other Vegetables,” curator Linnea Streit will present the various artistic perspectives and engage in conversation with artist Claudia Eichbichler. Her exhibited screen prints, depicting the iconic MUTTI tomato cans, symbolize the complex theme of belonging and homeland for the people of South Tyrol. What are we made of? To which place do we belong? They also prompt reflection on how certain foods and dishes evoke memories and a sense of familiarity. Scents also play an important role in this, as the aromas from the pots of Hildegard Leitner, Michel Perathoner, and Maria Wassermann fill the GalleriaCivica during the tour. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to chat and eat together.
