Para dai Giai, near Sassonher, is a mountain much-loved by locals, but you don’t have to climb it to get to the top. From here you can enjoy a 360° view. What a sight! Itinerary: La Villa (1433 m) – ascent by chair lift Gardenaccia (for a fee) – Gardenacia hut (2050 m) – Para dai Giai peak (2435 m) – Gardenacia hut – La Villa Difficulty: medium/difficult Meeting: 9.00 a.m. La Villa Tourist Office Return: approx. 5.00 p.m. Altitude diff.: ↑ approx. 740 m ↓ approx. 1000 m Distance: approx. 10.5 km Walking: approx. 5 hours Lunch: packed lunch The guide speaks Italian and German.
