A charming Christmas market in Tramin's oldest quarter, "Betlehem," featuring exclusive glimpses into private courtyards on December 8th, from 10 AM t

On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Tramin’s oldest district, Bethlehem, transforms into a unique Advent world: narrow streets, centuries-old farmhouses, and lovingly decorated courtyards provide the setting for the Traminer Hof-Advent, a Christmas market with a special charm.

Open Courtyards & Authentic Atmosphere
Several Tramin homeowners open their private courtyards exclusively, inviting visitors to take a festive stroll through these historic spaces. Guests can experience tradition, craftsmanship, and history in places normally not open to the public.

30 Exhibitors with Handmade & Regional Specialties
Thirty exhibitors present lovingly crafted products, including handicrafts, jewelry, ceramics, woodwork, farm produce, Christmas decorations, and creative gift ideas. Homemade items like jams, honey, and baked goods also invite browsing and tasting.

Culinary Highlights
Local businesses and associations provide for every taste with traditional specialties, hearty dishes, sweet treats, and warming drinks – from Tirtln and Pulled Pork to coffee and cake.

Children’s Program & Carriage Rides
Families can enjoy a varied children’s program with crafts and plenty of fun for the little ones. A special highlight is the carriage rides from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, which delight both young and old.

New: The Living Nativity – Mary and Joseph Rest in Bethlehem
A special highlight is the living nativity in the Langenmantel courtyard (2:00–5:00 pm). Mary and Joseph rest in Tramin’s oldest district – Bethlehem, where, according to legend, a nomad once gave birth on Christmas Eve. Together with the child, ox, goats, sheep, and other animals, this creates a touching and contemplative atmosphere in the courtyard.

Exhibitions & Culture
Cultural highlights complement the event:

  • Photo and art exhibition by Tramin amateur photographers

  • “Sacred” exhibition in the Rynnhof Chapel

  • Visit to the fresco room in the Langenmantel courtyard (16th century)

The Traminer Hof-Advent is a festive experience for families, food lovers, and everyone who wants to enjoy the Advent season in a truly unique setting.
