Join us for a special event celebrating the legacy of two giants of Italian theater, Dario Fo and Franca Rame. 55 years after the historic performances organized by Circolo La Comune, we are bringing the magic of "Mistero Buffo" back to life with a unique screening. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12 at 8:30 PM in Piazza Matteotti. We will relive the memorable evening of 1971 when Circolo La Comune hosted Dario Fo and Franca Rame with "Mistero Buffo" at the Sala della Fiera. This commemorative screening in Piazza Matteotti will include some of the most iconic monologues: Bonifacio VIII, Le Nozze di Cana, La Resurrezione di Lazzaro, Avvocato Inglese, Gesù Bambino, and La Parpaia Topola. It will be an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the performances that made theater history. The screening will be enriched with exclusive images and stories from the historical archive of Circolo La Comune, offering a deep insight into these events and their cultural impact. Furthermore, we are delighted to host the actors from Teatro Werkstatt, who will help make the evening even more special. Special thanks to: Comune di Bolzano / Stadtgemeinde Bozen, Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano Alto Adige / Autonome Provinz Bozen Südtirol, and Stiftung Sparkasse / Cassa di Risparmio. We look forward to celebrating together the power and relevance of Dario Fo and Franca Rame's theater!
