The countdown for the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A (2024 IIHF WMIA), which will be held at the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano from 28 April to 4 May 2024, has already begun. 30 years after the last time, an Ice Hockey World Championship will return to Bolzano: The Sparkasse Arena was in fact built for the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship held in 1994.
