1st Poetry Cabinet at SKB Artes
The world of poetry
The first Poetry Cabinet in the halls of SKB Artes on Weggensteinstraße in Bozen intends to explore the topic of poetry, one of the traditional literary genres, and whether it is still present in today's literary landscape and whether it is still contemporary. Despite limited interest from publishers, poetry is still alive and well and is even attracting increasing attention internationally.
Anne Marie Pircher, Nadia Rungger and Bertrand Huber have drawn public attention to poetry in recent years with their collections. On Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., at SKB Artes in Bozen, they will read excerpts from their works and discuss the issue of poetry today. The audience is cordially invited to dialogue with the authors. The event will be moderated by literature scholar F. Delle Cave.
