Since 1363, the Schmid Oberrautner winery has stood for living wine tradition in the heart of Bolzano. In the Gries district – at the foot of the Guntschnapromenade and just a few minutes from the old town – guests can experience a special combination of history, enjoyment and hospitality. As probably the oldest family-run winery in South Tyrol, the Schmid family combines centuries of experience with modern winemaking and personal service. Those who wish to stay can enjoy a holiday with a winegrower in Bolzano – surrounded by greenery yet close to the city. Three stylishly restored holiday apartments at the winery in Bolzano combine historic charm with modern comfort. A spacious garden invites you to relax, while the old town with its arcades, squares and cafés is only a few minutes' walk away. All apartments have modern powerful air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. On request, we can also prepare a generous breakfast buffet. Personally managed – for 21 generations Today, Florian and Judith run the winery with passion and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality.
