Gleichzeitig sammelt sie 8-mm-Archive von Menschen, die sie nicht kennt. Indem sie sich auf die Aufnahmen anderer verlässt, gewinnt sie eine neue Perspektive auf den Verlust von Erinnerungen.

Nata in Iran nel 1979, durante la rivoluzione islamica, Farah riprende momenti di gioia e sfida nella sua vita quotidiana, muovendosi tra libertà domestica e oppressione esterna. Allo stesso tempo, colleziona filmati in 8 mm di persone che non conosce. Basandosi sulle registrazioni degli altri, acquisisce una nuova prospettiva sulla perdita dei nostri ricordi.

Born during the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979, Farah captures moments of joy and defiance in her daily life, navigating the contrast between domestic freedom and external oppression. Simultaneously, she collects 8mm archives from people she doesn't know. Relying on others' recordings, she gains a new perspective on lost memories.

Farahnaz Sharifi, 1979 IRN.

Iranische Autorin, Regisseurin und Editorin, die jetzt in Deutschland lebt. Sie studierte Film an der Soore Universität in Teheran und drehte zu Beginn ihrer Karriere einige international gefeierte Kurzdokumentarfilme. Für Radiograph of a Family gewann sie beim International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam 2020 den Preis für die beste Montage. Sayyareye dozdide shodeye man ist ihr erster langer Dokumentarfilm, den sie geschrieben, gedreht, inszeniert und geschnitten hat.

La scrittrice, regista e montatrice iraniana vive ora in Germania. Ha studiato cinema presso la Soore University di Teheran e ha iniziato la sua carriera dirigendo una serie di brevi documentari acclamati a livello internazionale. Con Radiograph of a Family, ha vinto il premio per il Miglior Montaggio all'International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam nel 2020. Ha scritto, girato, diretto e montato il suo primo lungometraggio documentario Sayyareye dozdide shodeye man.

The Iranian writer, director and editor now lives in Germany. She studied film at Soore University in Tehran and began her career directing a number of internationally acclaimed short documentaries. With Radiograph of a Family, she won the award for Best Editing at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in 2020. She wrote, filmed, directed and edited her debut feature-length documentary Sayyareye dozdide shodeye man.
