Als der Lehrstuhlinhaber der Philosophischen Fakultät beim Joggen stirbt, gibt es für Marcelo nur eine Konsequenz: Er selbst wird Nachfolger seines Mentors werden. Dann aber erhält der in die Jahre gekommene Professor aus Buenos Aires unerwartete Konkurrenz, in Gestalt des blendend aussehenden Rafael.

Quando il preside della cattedra della facoltà di filosofia muore mentre sta facendo jogging, per Marcelo c'è solo un'opzione possibile: sarà lui stesso a succedere al suo mentore. Ma il professore un po' antiquato ed attempato di Buenos Aires si trova a fare i conti con un antagonista del tutto inaspettato: l‘affascinante Rafael.

When the chair of the Faculty of Philosophy dies while jogging, there is only one consequence for Marcelo: he himself will succeed his mentor. But then the somewhat staid professor from Buenos Aires faces unexpected competition in the form of the dazzlingly handsome Rafael.

María Alché (Buenos Aires, 1987) hat mit ihrem ersten Spielfilm, Familia sumergida (2018), den Horizontes Award in San Sebastian gewonnen. Ihr Projekt Te amo y hoy todo es hermoso wurde dieses Jahr für Ikusmira Berriak ausgewählt. Benjamín Naishtat (Buenos Aires, 1986) gewann in San Sebastian die Silberne Muschel für die beste Regie mit seinem dritten abendfüllenden Film Rojo (2018), der auch für den besten Schauspieler und die beste Kameraführung ausgezeichnet wurde. Sein erster Film, Historia del miedo, wurde für Films in Progress 24 (San Sebastián 2013) ausgewählt, lief im Wettbewerb der Berlinale, gewann den Preis für den besten Film in Jeonju und nahm 2014 an Horizontes Latinos teil. Sein zweiter Film, El movimento, wurde in der Sektion Cineasti del Presente in Locarno präsentiert. Puan wurde für Proyecta 2021 ausgewählt.

Il suo progetto Te amo y hoy todo es hermoso è stato scelto quest'anno per Ikusmira Berriak. Benjamín Naishtat (Buenos Aires, 1986) vinse la Conchiglia d'argento per il miglior regista a San Sebastian con il suo terzo lungometraggio, Rojo (2018), vincitore anche dei premi per il miglior attore e la miglior fotografia. Il suo primo film, Historia del miedo, è stato selezionato per Films in Progress 24 (San Sebastián 2013), ha partecipato al Festival di Berlino, ha vinto il premio come miglior film a Jeonju e ha partecipato a Horizontes Latinos nel 2014. Il suo secondo film, El movimento, è stato presentato nella sezione Cineasti del Presente a Locarno. Puan è stato selezionato per Proyecta 2021.
