AIKU'È ZEPÉ

Dieses Projekt entstand aus dem Bedürfnis heraus,
die alltäglichen Sorgen als Körper, als Person einer indigenen
Frau darzustellen, die versucht im von der "Zivilisation"
hinterlassenen Chaos zu überleben.

Questo progetto è nato dall'esigenza di esprimere
le sue preoccupazioni come corpo e come donna indigena
che cerca di sopravvivere nel caos lasciato dalla "civiltà".

This project was born out of the need to express the
concerns of the body and as an indigenous woman struggling
to survive the chaos left behind by "civilisation".

Autodidatta e multidisciplinare, Zahy, donna e artista indigena - nata nella riserva di Cana Brava, nel Maranhão/Brasile - è il risultato della sua identità che attraversa temi originali e contemporanei e intreccia dialoghi innovativi tra i suoi molteplici linguaggi, interrogandosi attraverso le sue creazioni sul comportamento dell'umanità e sui suoi interventi socio-culturali odierni. Agendo intensamente nel mercato artistico, che si tratti di teatro o di audiovisivi, Zahy si interroga sempre sull'equilibrio tra le esigenze del mercato capitalista e i suoi scopi di comunicazione e sensibilità nel suo lavoro.

Die autodidaktische und multidisziplinäre Künstlerin Zahy - geboren im Reservat Cana Brava im brasilianischen Maranhão - ist das Ergebnis einer Identität, die ursprüngliche und zeitgenössische Themen miteinander verbindet und innovative Dialoge zwischen ihren verschiedenen Sprachen webt, wobei sie in ihren Werken das Verhalten der Menschheit und ihre soziokulturellen Interventionen hinterfragt. Zahy agiert intensiv auf dem Kunstmarkt, sei es im Theater oder im audiovisuellen Bereich, und hinterfragt in seiner Arbeit stets das Gleichgewicht zwischen den Anforderungen des kapitalistischen Marktes und seinen Zielen der Kommunikation und Sensibilität.

Self-taught and multi-disciplinary, Zahy, an indigenous woman and artist - born in the Cana Brava reserve in the Maranhão/Brazil - is the result of her identity that crosses original and contemporary themes and weaves innovative dialogues between her multiple languages, questioning through her creations the behaviour of humanity and its socio-cultural interventions today. Acting intensively in the art market, be it theatre or audio-visual, Zahy always questions the balance between the demands of the capitalist market and its aims of communication and sensitivity in his work.
